What is cable trunking?

Cable trunking is used for the surface mounting and containment of low voltage cabling, used to both feed and distribute.

Certain sizes can be sub-divided to carry both data and power and the MCT100 100mm x 50mm system provides for the mounting of wiring accessories via outlet boxes.

All profiles within the PVC-U cable trunking range are complimented by either moulded clip on or fabricated direction change accessories.

OPTIONS

• Six dimension combination options catering for most installation requirements
• 3 Profiles offer the facility to sub divide the main compartment using clip in dividers (MCT50, MCT75 & MCT100)
• MCT400 main compartment can be sub divided using divider profile secured through the trunking base and into the building fabric during installation
• A comprehensive range of clip on moulded accessories are available for both the MCT50 & 100 Profiles

INFORMATION

• Suitable for installation on both walls & ceilings
• Seamless installation (MCT 50 & 100) one-piece moulded accessories mask all lid terminations
• External Couplers (MCT50/75/100/400) mask lid & base terminations.
• Couplers should be used where profile lengths meet & where fabricated accessories are installed.
• End caps should always be secured into position using adhesive (ADH)
