A major step forward was taken in our on-going commitment to our ‘Customer Service Improvement  Programme’  during November, which saw us install a  ‘state of the art’ server. This investment has allowed us to utilise electronic mail in many more aspects of handling customer orders, thus reducing our carbon footprint in the usage of stationery paper items. Typically,  where customers have a preference,  and suitable email contact addresses are available,  we are sending Order Acknowledgements, Invoices, Statements and Purchase Orders via email.

After a successful season last year Falcon Trunking have continued with the sponsorship of the clubs Ist team and official replica club match day shirts. Early season results indicate that Littleborough Rugby Union Club will continue with their development and success both on and off the pitch.

The 10th Annual Independent  Buyers Association Trade Show took place on Friday 9th September at Whittlebury Hall Hotel, and was followed in the evening with a formal dinner and presentation of the much coveted  ‘Supplier of the Year Award’. Having been successful in winning the title for 2010 Falcon MD Kinburn Bargh took a relaxed backseat and eager to see who the 2011 winner would be. To his amazement  Falcon Trunking Systems Ltd was the name announced as the 2011 winner. Back to back wins for a Supplier is a first for the Independent Buyers Association and no one was more surprised than Kinburn.

As sales of the new APAC System continue to rise we have begun to manufacture a Flat Angle and Stop End Cap for the System. Product codes for these items will be APAC/FA for the Flat Angle and APAC/SE for the Stop End.

The APAC in Action

As a result of requests from our clients we are now manufacturing a purpose made Stop End Cap for our Plumbing PTR222 range. This together with recent accessories additions to the APAC System will feature in the next printed update of the Plumbing Brochure. The product code will be FSE 7

As part of our on-going support to wholesalers and distributors the length and breadth of the country, we have commissioned a prototype for a dedicated Plumbing point of sale Display board
(Size 800mm (h) x 600mm (w)).

The board will feature both our continuous box section system and the new APAC System. We anticipate strong demand for the boards so please register your interest in taking a board by emailing sales@falcontrunking.co.uk as soon as possible. Where possible we will try and coordinate delivery of the board with a visit from our plumbing Sales Representative Peter Redkwa, who also has a supply of the new brochure, promotional note pads and pens. We are also looking at providing new sales counter point of sale show cards.

Further supplies of our Display boards for our Electrical range have also been put back into production, and again we hope to fulfil the demand at the earliest possible date.

On the back of the successful sponsorships on various sporting fronts, our latest support is for a potential future Olympic hopeful Rob Harratt. The sponsorship has gone towards part funding the cost of a ‘state of the art’ canoe for Rob and helps him compete in his sport of white water slalom canoeing. The purchase of the new C1 boat has brought immediate results having taking the plunge at the latest National Championships at Llandysull in Wales. Rob came away from the event as the National Junior 16 champion. The boat and paddles will feature the Falcon Trunking Systems brand and we hope to keep up with Rob and his progress over the coming months/years. Let’s hope his fellow competitors will struggle to do the same.

Little did Falcon know that when we agreed to sponsor the First Team shirts of our local amateur rugby union club for the 2010/2011season that their playing exploits would result in global media coverage. This came as a consequence of Littleborough Rugby Union Club winning through to the final of the RFU Senior Vase knockout competition versus Teddington. The final was played at Twickenham, home of English rugby.

In a keenly contested final Teddington eventually ran out worthy winners 42-8. A great day out and fabulous experience for players, coaching staff, committee members and spectators.
